With more than 30 years working with agencies in London and Seattle, I am able to offer a wealth of experience when it comes to navigating how photographers get commissioned for advertising work.

I have had the privilege of working alongside some of the leading award-winning creative talents in renowned agencies such as JWT, Saatchi & Saatchi, CDP, FCB, TBWA, Publicis and Adam & Eve DDB. Serving as a senior producer and head of department, I have garnered valuable insights into the intricacies of creative production. Alongside my coaching consultancy, I continue to work with agencies as a freelance buyer and as a portfolio reviewer for Production Paradise and Squintbox.
International Expertise
As a seasoned producer in Seattle for a decade, as well as my time as an art-buyer in London working on many multi-national campaigns, I’ve gained a global perspective, enriching my approach with diverse insights and strategies.
Creative Pedigree
Even before I joined the advertising industry at the beginning of my career, my life has always been immersed in creativity. My Dad ran jazz clubs in Soho when I was growing up, and my Aunt was a concert violinist. Three of my cousins are professional artists, and my brother has spent his life as a full-time musician after dropping out of college to join a chart-topping band. If there is one type of mentality I really understand, it’s creative people.
Coaching Approach
Beyond my extensive production background, I trained as a coach over 20 years ago and have been coaching photographers since then. My unique combination of skills enables me to guide clients not only in building the business side of their work, but also in nurturing them as people, recognizing and embracing their strengths and weaknesses. My approach looks to foster both personal and professional development. We won’t just focus on the technical aspects of running a photography business, but also encourage self-discovery, empowerment, and growth.
